Dear Members, 

We’re pleased to announce that the 2024 UKUAT Annual General Meeting will be held on 15th April 2024 at the University of Salford. As UKUAT members, we invite and encourage you to attend this event. 

We’ll hold the official AGM items in the morning - the election of the Board of Directors (BoD), the presentation of accounts and finances, an account of our activities in the past year, and the final vote on our proposed new membership tiers. 

Then for the rest of the day, we’re looking to move on to discussions of how we can really drive collaboration and impact across the sector. We’ll send you more details about this very soon.

Dear members, 

Thanks again to those of you who were able to join us at the University of Salford for our 2024 AGM, either in person or online. 

We’ll soon be sending out a full report of the day, which will include the full results of the official voting that took place (all results anonymous of course). 

However, just to bring you all up to speed on the results of those votes: 

• The current Board of Directors were all re-elected, and will continue in their previous roles, namely:
  • Mark Horler - Chair
  • Katia Zacharaki - Communications Director
  • Oscar Rodriguez - Policy Director
  • Paul Myers - Finance Director 
  • Johnny Stormonth-Darling - Technical Director (and company secretary)

• Members voted in favour of our proposed new tiered membership system
  • We will now begin implementation of this system, and will keep you all informed as we progress 
  • Your current membership will continue unchanged until your next renewal date

In addition, and as mentioned above, we held a couple of breakout workshop sessions in the afternoon. It was really positive and useful to engage with our members on the landscape and priorities for funding and projects. We will include the detailed outcomes of these sessions in the upcoming report mentioned above. 

As a team, we took away a great deal from the day, and we’re excited to get cracking on the work in the year ahead. We thank you for your continued membership and support.
