Urban Agriculture: Challenging our Food System
Following COP 26 and “Our Dear Green Place” panel discussion on Glasgow City Food Plan in September, Women in Property is excited to follow up with a discussion looking in more detail at how Urban Agriculture has the potential to impact our built environment so we can all live in more sustainable, resilient, and fairer places reconnecting to nature and the ways we grow food.
The panel will be formed by:
- Derek Stewart – The James Hutton Institute
- Kate Forster – Intelligent Growth Solutions
- Lucy Moore – BuroHappold Engineering | Urban C:Lab
- Mark Horler – Chair at UK Urban AgriTech (UKUAT)
Join us in the discussion and find out how modern agricultural systems support a resilient urban environment and how we can all get involved.
