The annual event welcomes growers, breeders, agronomists, researchers and industry partners to explore the latest advances shaping the future of berry production. The Hutton, internationally recognised for its soft fruit breeding programme, will demonstrate its science in action, with a focus on sustainable production, crop technology and next-generation breeding techniques.
The programme includes guided field tours of the Hutton’s soft fruit breeding plots, where leading breeder Nikki Jennings will highlight how breeding programmes are improving production efficiency, fruit quality, climate resilience and responsiveness to changing market demands.
